History
Founded in 1970 to serve
the commercial and townhome/condominium market, Akahi
Services maintains fine properties like Mokuleia Beach
Colony, HMSA Building, Kawaiahao Plaza/Mission House
Museum, Nob Hill, Admiral Thomas, and the historic C.
Brewer Bldg year in and year out. In 1998 we expanded
into Maui, Kauai, the Big Island, and started extensive
grounds work for Pearl Harbor and other military facilities.
In 2001 we joined up with building renovation contractor
Rex Cornair, and in 2003 we have added Scott Gross,
the best pool guy on Maui, and formed Aquatic Design
Construction. In 2003 we also have begun residential
landscape projects under the experienced supervision
of Dana Erikson, a CLT and designer with over 20 years
experience.
Our growth has been by
referrals and word of mouth, with very little advertising.
